PARTICIPATION FEES
Those who pass the selection test will be allowed to participate at the conference. The participation and accommodation fees for single delegates and delegations are specified below (the selection process is detailed in the Registration section):
Please note, in order to participate in the International careers Festival it is necessary to pay ONLY the conference fee, which means that the other services offered, including accommodation package and the pre-event preparation package Festival on Cruise are optional.
Single Delegate
Participation conference fee – 250 Euros includes:
participation to all conference sessions,
preparation materials,
access to the online forum,
online preparation meetings (4 meetings of 3 hours each), not compulsory but highly recommended,
delegate’s kit,
lunches during the days of the conference,
certificate of participation.
The participation fee can be paid in two installments. The first payment of 150 euros must be made by the 20th of December 2019, the second payment of 100 euros by the 24th of January 2020. Any paid participation fees, whether partial or total, will NOT be refunded, IN ANY CASE, after the 20th of December 2019.
Delegations
Delegation means a group of at least 6 people.

The participation fee can be paid in two installments. The first payment of 130 euros must be paid by the 20th of December 2019, the second of 100 euros by the 24th of January 2020. Any paid participation fees, whether partial or total, will NOT be refunded, IN ANY CASE, after the 20st of December 2019.
ALL THE FEES ARE NON REFUNDABLE. The only exception will be made for those who, despite having already paid the fee, decide to withdraw by notifying it BEFORE 20th OF DECEMBER 2019 by registered letter to Giovani nel Mondo Association in P. Petrocchi Street 8b, Rome 00137 ITALY.
TRAVEL AND ACCOMMODATION
Through the registration portal it is possible to access the Travel & Accommodation section of the website where participants can opt for our affordable, affiliated accommodation as well as book their flight/train ticket to/from Rome with preferential terms. Please note, that the 2020 edition will be partially held at the partner hotel, therefore it is strongly recommended to stay in the official structure of the Festival.
The accommodation package available this year includes:
ROME PACKAGE - €250
- 4 nights, double room in a 4 star hotel from the 6th till 10th of March 2020 at the "Holiday Inn Eur Parco de Medici Hotel" or "Sheraton Hotel Parco de Medici"

- Shuttle service to/from hotel and conference venue
- 24h staff assistance
- VISA Assistance
- Proof of Accommodation
FESTIVAL ON CRUISE
The Festival on Cruise fee of the post-event week starting from 16th to 23rd of April 2020, is set at 500 euros per person + port taxes * and includes:
- accommodation in a standard double cabin for 6 or 7 nights (based on the departure port and shared with another participant of the Festival on Cruise)
- breakfast
- Full board service at Costa Pacifica's restaurants or buffet restaurants
- access to all the internal structures of the ship: indoor pool-discotheques-bar-lounge bar-casino
- soft drinks (unlimited non-alcoholic beverages)
- insurance
- visits to international institutions and universities
- shuttle service from Civitavecchia/Rome to Fiumicino Airport or to Termini station on April 23rd.
* The exact amount of the port taxes will be communicated 30 days before the departure and must be paid within 1 week after the communication (the amount will be around 150 euros)
Therefore, if you join the Festival with only the conference fee the cost is 250 euros per person; the fee rises up to 500 euros per person if you also want to book the accommodation package; the fee will be 750 euros per person + port taxes if you want to take the conference fee package together with the festival on cruise package; the fee increases up to 1000 euros per person + port taxes in case you want to take all three packages (conference fee+accommodation fee+festival on cruise). Those who register as part of a delegation will be entitled to a reduction of 20 euros on the costs indicated above.
SCHOLARSHIPS AND AWARDS
For the 2020 edition of the International Careers Festival, Giovani nel Mondo will have 250 scholarships available which will cover partially, or in full, the conference and accommodation fees (the accommodation will be chosen by the Association). The scholarships, for which all those interested must apply before the 13th of December 2019, will be awarded after an analysis and selection by the Research Committee of the Giovani nel Mondo Association.
Once you have completed the Application form, you will be given access to your reserved section of the International Careers Festival’s website and must become a member of the Association by paying the annual membership fee of 15 euros. Once you have uploaded your payment receipt to your account, you will have access to the online English Language test. To apply for a scholarship, it is necessary to pass the test with a score of 90/100 (European C1 level). If your score is equal to/over 90/100, you will have access to the scholarship application where you must answer a series of questions, upload your CV, and write an essay.
We remind you that there are only 250 scholarships available
The scholarships are very competitive, therefore we recommend that you apply for a scholarship in the case that you cannot attend the event without one or if you believe you have all the required qualifications.
Scholarships DO NOT cover travel expenses. Many students who could not afford to come to our events would use crowdfunding sites to try and pay for fees and/or flights.
